Not having seen the sweater in person(although Issac's clothes are well made) I have to say that is a more than fair price for cashmere. I like that QVC is presenting different price ranges. I would rather pay more for better quality and not have to replace the sweater each year. Not everyone cares for the lower end clothing, and wants more of a choice. The key word is choice. If something is not for you pass on it. Why be critical of the Q now giving us more choices?

It's a fair price for Cashmere.  As for the overall high prices of clothing at the "Q". This is not an issue for me. I rarely purchase clothing items from them. I prefer B & M stores, since they tend to offer clearance prices and sales.

Re: HIGH PRICES....

[ Edited ]

I love a nice cashmere sweater and pair them with a leather skirt or pants. I've found nice ones on sale at Macy's for around $100, not bad. Speaking of leather, the real thing is getting very pricey. One reason I check E-Bay for them. I just bought a nice new w/tags leather skirt for $17. I know I really don't need another one, but it is in a color and style I don't have.It really pays to shop around both on line and B&M stores.

Isaac is the "face" of IM Live. If you think he may not have seen the item, you're probably right.

When you buy IM, chances are you're getting a team, like D&Co has. Whatever you pay, you're  getting charged a higher price for a face, not a designer.   You DO pay designer prices for IM's face equal or more to Bob Mackie, Linea, Simonton, who actually do design their own clothes and you actually are getting what you pay for.  I try not to pay extra for a face, when I can have a real designer for the same price.

Talk about high prices. Has anyone noticed the price of deodorant has skyrocketed? Lol. What's up with that?  Another lady and I were laughing that there's gonna be some stinky people pretty soon if deodorant keeps going up 😜

I find their prices about normal.  I don't understand why people get upset with QVC pricing on clothes.  There are other stores out there.  Good cashmere is expensive no way around it.  And, I like that QVC offers different price ranges.

QVC is following a different business model than they did a few years ago.  They are choosing to sell fewer units at a higher price point, instead of doing high volume at a low price.  Look across all of the lines, from jewelry, fashion, handbags, shoes, cosmetics - they are all dominated by the "Luxury" brands.

I absolutley agree with the fact that lesser items are presented and the complete hour or two is consistently repeated with the same item.  Same dialogue; same droning on and on.  I never sit and watch QVC; I'm usually doing things and I have difficulty sitting for long periods.  I'll do something after an item is presented, return 10-15 minutes later and it's still going on and on.  Boring is the only word I can think of and don't think the value is there anymore.  That's one of the reasons I return items.  The value is not there and presentation looks different on TV. I'm scolded by QVC for retunring the items.  Another thing I found laughable:  I return items in the same package, I bring them to UPS or PO and I PAY to return them.  Yet, Ms. Chapman said "bad girl."  Really?  When you start reimbursing me for the cost of returns, then you can say something and please remember, we are the CUSTOMERS.  And I pay my bill on time every time.

QVC seems to try and appeal to everyone.  Those that love cashmere understand that for the price and how much material is used in this sweater that it's actually a great price for 2-ply.  A comparable sweater at Nordstroms or upper end store that would carry cashmere would be asking at least twice the original price for it or more.  I didn't buy it because I just didn't like the sleeve and shoulder configuration but I was interested.

And choice is what it's all about.  With almost every store out there having a website I don't understand the problem.  Google the store, see if there are code coupons, go to the website and shop your heart out....  or spend a few hours out going to the B&Ms, have lunch out and it's all good..... At the risk of offending some I got a Land's End cashmere sweater (black) at Goodwill for about $4.00. I don't think it was ever worn.
