I placed a guarantee Christmas Delivery order on 12/14. I got an QVC email on 12/23 saying it would NOT be delivered by Christmas. As of today, the order has not been picked up by UPS at the warehouse. I called and got a refund plus a 10 dollar credit because they no longer have inventory of that item. But they charged me for the item on 12/23 and it never left the warehouse.

I ordered everything during holidays I RECIEVED most items free shipping, free gift and 2 day shipping. It all came true These are the companies I worked with

STANCE

PJ SALVAGE,

ZAPPOS

NORDIES

EBAY

AMAZON, I had several items just shipped to gifted,

homey baked hams. Gifts

GOLDBELLY

MAGNOLIA.

out of all the vendors the one item I ordered from QVC, 6 Cinnamon Buns wash, TOOK 18 days plus shipping

if these other companies can do it why can't QVC?  I have an idea if they updated the entire computer system and inventory, and organized warehouse, I have no doubt they can do it.   If I order overnight or 2: day from QVC. It comes on time. I have a feeling QVC doesn't know what's exactly in their warehouse, or exact inventory amount. Most places know down to ONE, what is available.  When it's gone, they don't offer

For me, I’ve been around enough years of ordering from any vendor to know that there is no absolute guarantee on delivery, especially in December.

Shippers have trouble even during non-holiday periods.

@bikerbabe.  We all know it's riduculous for QVC to make that guarantee, but if they insist and fail, they should be held accountable.

I got all my Q orders well before Christmas so have no complaint.  Got one Land's End package today that limped in.

Everything I ordered from QVC by the noon deadline on the 20th arrived in time. I had 2 large deliveries and boxes arrived in perfect condition thanks to the delivery service !

I wish I could say I got the same kind of service from

Amazon, Target, LL Bean and Estée Lauder. 🥴

I don't believe any retailer abt  " guaranteed delivery  for Christmas ".

Shawn and Mary D  gave their guarantee on air when Hosting. Any thing for a sale.

I had good luck with my orders arriving from the Q.  The items I ordered from Amazon took 3+ weeks and arrived 3 days after Christmas.  I ordered the items on December 4 shipping from Amazon and not a vendor.

All my orders from the Q arrived promptly.  My order from Amazon did not arrive.  It's okay.  Things happen @shoekitty .

@San Antonio Gal   I ordered my Cinnamon Buns as soon as someone on this forum said they were for sale! Thank you who ever it was!!!  I would have missed out!    That was early Nov.  I had plenty of time.  I have had thing dilly dally from Amazon as well.  Q has about the slowest shipping I have ever experienced, and I do all online shopping.  I can't get out and shop anymore.  With me though, most everything that was important I ordered in Oct and early Nov, because you never know. A few things I ordered a week before Christmas, other places they all came 2 days. People do have to realize you can't always depend on QVC for ship. But if you order overnight, I guarentee it will be there. It will.

I got everything very quickly.  All of them by Christmas eve. The fasted ever from QVC was one day.  The item was at the Chester location.  I'm in Maryland.  So I got after one day via UPS.  I wasn't happy when I realized UPS was the carrier....but they came in time.

With today's heavy shipping by online ordering I am surprised any retailer "guaratee's" any shipping dates.  Especially this time of year.    On Dec. 21 I ordered from Walmart (not a X-mas present) it shipped out of Cincinnati, I live approx 90 miles from there.  I did not get the package until 12/26.  This was USPS by Walmart.

Thats just an example of how backed up mail can be during the holiday season.

If the items were for me it wouldn't matter if I received them a little later. If they were gifts, I would probably have ordered them much sooner in time for gift giving.
