Grateful for QVC!

[ Edited ]

Being happy for the small things in one's life can be uplifting.  There are a number of purchases I have made from QVC that enhance my life daily.  Of course, some of them I could have purchased in B & M stores, but the convenience of ordering either by phone or online can't be beat.

For example, my Keurig (4 years old and still going) makes waking up a pleasure; my toaster oven heats up my breakfast, lunch or dinner; my Shark vacuum is an absolute delight; my Bare Minerals powder prepares me for the outside world; by Denim and Co coat, along with my Liz Claiborne vest and Clark's boots kept me quite warm today; my Denim and Co maxi dresses are my "housedresses" and look neat and are comfortable; my Carol Hochman pajamas, my Berkshire sheets and my Sunbeam heating pad make sleeping a pleasure.

I still use my TFAL pots and pans bought over 20 years ago - they are in perfect condition.

No, I'm not out of control; I purchase what I know I will use and appreciate.  And enjoy.

And so, QVC, thank you!

I too have a house full of things I use daily from QVC and have been purchasing for the last 20 years. I've gotten things that I didn't think were worth the money or that were defective, but I simply return them and write a review expressing my displeasure.

I can't think of a single place I shop that the quality is what it once was, including QVC, but I am happy with the most of the purchases I have made here.

Nice post @coco14, because mostly people just complain and forget the nicer things that Q has provided in their lives over the years.

I agree, I am thankful for the internet ability to order and all the vendors especially amazon and QVC, things are a lot easier to shop for larger and plus  sizes.

Thanks for that great reminder. I complain about QVC limiting its offerings, but it's good to remember that I enjoy denim and company jeans of various types every day (and capris in summer), I love my new Liz Claiborne "sweater  coat" and denim and company "tribal jacquard" sweaters from this fall, we both love corky's ribs, and I adore my, gulp, five Dooney "Brenna" bags which were tsvs a year ago. I am wearing a cozy zip-up Stan Herman robe right now. And more: I still wear and love a great boiled-wool QVC "centigrade" coat I bought several years ago and which compares favorably to a much more costly geiger jacket of mine! Ok, yes, I miss that level of QVC quality from six or seven years ago.

@coco14

Me too in fact too many things to list! My most recent buy was the Mark Micili jar opener thing...I bought for my elderly friend who had very bad arthritis in his hands. Sadly he passed and I never got to give to him so I decided to try it...Why didn't I think of buying this gadget sooner-I use almost everyday! And the can opener (I even ordered a extra just in case)...these are just 2 of the many wonderful things I bought & use from Q.

I cant tell you how many kitchen gadgets, Kitchen Aid Mixer (17 years young, CE SS pots & pans (15 yrs old), home & Christmas decor, clothing (when sizes were actually true) & gifts!!!

Sometimes I wish the Q from 20 years ago was still here but of course, they need to change with the times & their customer base. I'm pleased with most things I've bought recently & honestly, Q CS has always been a pleasant experience for me!

Thanks for doing this thread!  And you're right we take the little things for granted like our Kuerig! Have a great day!

How nice to read such an UPLIFTING thread...I too enjoy all my purchases from QVC..I did most of my KIDS Christmas Shopping from QVC..I enjoy the Toy presentations. I get to see the Toy and how it works. I have 9 kids to buy for and there is no way i will go to Toys-R-Us and walk the aisles trying to figure out what to get.All I do is watch and shop..It's a beautiful thing! AND all the toys I have bought from QVC are many times things the Kids have never seen..FLASH PADS..Those lighted Cars going around the lighted tracks..Oh that was a big hit..Infact I had to buy them at least 3 times and I had to buy additional cars..they were playing with them for years..So, THANK YOU QVC for making my life easier!
