I agree about too many food shows, but food is a kitchen item so it relates. I can't stand their 4, 5 and 6 hour food shows, because I don't order food from them and don't want to watch them enjoying food I can't have. LOL. BUT, food, I believe, is their #1 selling item. They need to make their 3rd channel, a 24hr food channel.

The Q use to have many different fun programs, but now its the same old thing.. Different unusual items many years and great vendors.
Now it seems to be the same vendors and fashion. It's OK, but use to be more of a selection. Of course I was younger, so it doesn't interest me.
I did spend a lot of money in the day.
Kirk's Folly, Joan Rivers, handbags, rugs, Thomas Kinkade pictures. Done.
I still buy Dr. Denese. I have very nice skin. Ha.

I don't think QVC is going downhill so to speak. Personally, I think those who watch QVC everyday, (some all day) 7 days a wk, should be tired of it. It is a loop... round and round ...same products, same hosts,. Also, as far as repetition, hosts go over each product for those who are new to QVC, or are in frequent buyers. The other issue is we all are so internet savvy, especially when it comes to shopping. 24 shopping, anywhere in the world for basically anything. We have sen so much, and if you watched QVC for years it's got to be stale.
it's kind of like going online to other stores, everyday, or even 4 times a week several hours a day. You will look at basically same tops, jeans, shoes, etc, pretty much until seasonal changes take place. The posters here at the Forums are a drop in the bucket to shoppers nationwide. Imagine there are hundreds of new people everyday, there are occasional viewers..but literally millions of viewers tune in. What are we maybe 100-200 max ? Our opinion isn't the top of the list.

This post and so many of the replies is so timely for me. I was just thinking last night how really really really bored I am these days with QVC and how way too long the presentations are for the very same products they sell over and over. No wonder their sales are way down. I, too, used to watch all the time, but no longer. Years ago they would show several products, many of them new, within a one hour time frame, and the host calmly sat or stood and presented the product, not themselves or their families. Had so many interesting and unique products and never same old same old with 10-20 minutes presentations each (YUK), only to have other presentations of same item later in day and all week long. Only thing I can guess is no one finds it profitable to sell on QVC any longer, or they get tired of some of the hosts antics too, like we do. From a 30-plus year customer, it is a different animal now and not appealing at all. WE WANT NEW AND WE WANT SHORTER PRESENTATIONS AND MORE RELATABLE HOSTS PLEASE!

Sorta sad to see the same small rotation of items shown over and over again. Reminds me of my days in radio when the ratings were bad, they would tighten the rotation and we would play the same 10 or 12 songs over and over again. It seemed to me that made things WORSE and I feel the same about Q. You feel bored with no motivation to tune in.

Obviously, people have different opinions.
It's ok if you like Q.
It's equally ok if you don't like Q.
