@mj57 :I don't think the Q caters to the rich and well-off. I think their prices are about what we all pay for stuff. Every thing is costly.

I have been a QVC shopper for 20+ years and have probably spent a fortune.

About 6 weeks I got tired of seeing the same old stuff.so I cut way back on my watching time. I haven't spent a dime in almost two months.

I love Kim Gravelle's sweaters but they are all alike this year and haven't bought one this year. Susan Graver is 24/7 liquid knits which I detest.

I have .no idea what happened because I spend a lot of money this time of the year at QVC.

If I'm understanding your post, you're not sure if you got a refund for a piece of jewelry?  Did you check in your order status or bank statements?  If you didn't follow up on this, I don't see why you're "still mad at the q".

One thing that I do not like about ITKWD is when they show TSV items, like computers, vacuum cleaners etc, that are not food items.  I watch it to see food gadgets, foods, etc. I know they probably do that to increase sales but there are enough shows on to showcase the TSV throughout the day, I just wish they would keep ITKWD about food and food gadgets.

I probably use my vacuum cleaner in my kitchen more than any other room.

I think these extended waiting times are a new tactic.  They take pre order, only for what they sell no left over inventory. Also, with extended delivery over seas items have a longer ship time. They may not be buying inventory anymore.  Less costly, and maybe  has to do with factory wait times?  Just guessing

Your points are valid, but we can't change it. On the rare days when I have QVC on a lot, I get bored with the long TSV presentations.

I am astounded with how people complain about the Q programming when there are SO many options of shows to watch on TV or stream. ITKWD has always had food on long as I recall, and yes, they have always pushed more food around holidays. When the shredders, mattresses, flower and garden stuff is on I swap to Murder She Wrote, Twilight Zone, Disney, BritBox or so many other choices.

Why do I do this? Easy, someone else out there actually does watch the Q programs or hosts that I don't, and that is called not being selfish and having options.

I spent part of today in a mall, and I found many higher end department store casual clothes prices much higher than QVC. However, I have more clothes than I need.  I occasionally shop for gowns and cocktail dresses in stores--items which QVC rarely carries.

I started shopping at QVC for gold jewelry--I certainly miss those bargain prices and live broadcasts from Italy.

Yes, everything is higher when first introduced---you must wait for the change of seasons to get true bargains.

I think it is great David features food, as that is a very popular item for QVC. I always order a lot of food from QVC during the holidays--great brands, great quality!

I do not really need anything for my kitchen.

I do not shop on Amazon for food or clothes.

My motto is never to buy the "cheapest" item, but the highest quality item at the best price.

Here is the sweater I almost bought today at Bloomie's--priced at $109.00 (Liverpool LA).
