I'm just one customer so maybe my opinion doesn't matter but I can't believe many others in QVC land, feel the same way. I have basically stopped watching them at all because their programming stinks anymore and their prices are far worse than amazon or anywhere else that I can find for much less the price. QVC is starting to cater to the rich and well off far more than the average pay scale anymore. Secondly, when I watch a program I don't care about product that doesn't pertain to the shoe. "in the kitchen with David" should be kitchen products......not food from every galaxy in the world! They have enough "foodie" programs, and food products to buy on their 12 hour gourmet shows that run 10 times a day at 4 - 5 hours at a clip! If they want to peddle food, then keep it on those shows. Today, in the kitchen has been on 1 hour and has had 3 food items! That's ridiculous, and David, and the team have forgotten what it is supposed to be about.....NOT FOOD! I just think this programming has gone extremely south, and so has pricing. I'm pretty much done with watching, but it's sad to see where they were, and where they are now. Just my opinion, but had to say what I thought.

Where is it written that ITKWD isn't also about food???

Personally I don't think there's a new kitchen item or gadget that I can't live without, but people will always need food.

@mj57.  I agree with your comments about programming.  It's mind-numbingly dreary with the same products, especially TSVs, over and over with presentations that go on for hours.  Just look at this weekend, everybody's nightmare, mattresses AND vacuum cleaners.

We're still in the first week of October and I'm already sick to death of Christmas, even though I don't watch the shows.  Constant promos and mention of it.

My Q watching has been reduced to near zero.

Have I been doing it wrong all these years?  My kitchen is primarily about food followed quickly by cleaning.

I do agree with OP the repetitiveness and lengthy presentations.

I just want to comment on your first issue.  You cannot compare QVC or any retail store to Amazon.  Amazon is a multibillion dollar company.  They can afford to charge a lot less.

I don't think QVC prices are a lot higher than other retailers.  Of course, you can find cheaper but is the style and quality the same?  Clothes are higher all over.

I must say ITA regarding the same products over and over. I swear they have that Pop-It storage rack in every ITKWD I've seen lately, and they spend such a long amt. of time on it. They must have a ton of them in the warehouse to unload.

I don't mind the food items on the kitchen shows at all. They are appropriate in theme, and they add variety; otherwise, all we'd see is gadgets and Temp-tations. But I really don't enjoy days like today when there's a TSV that "could be used in the kitchen" and is therefore presented for an hour in the middle of the show—and I'm sure we'll see that vacuum presented one more time before ITKWD is over. I always change the channel when such things come up, and sometimes I forget to come back. Oh, well.
