There is a little square thing that usually comes with any TV, called a tuner. I am sure there is a channel changer on yours. AND it's really not hard to work!

I check the schedule.  It tells you what is on and when.  That way you don't have to watch what you aren't interested in.

Same here.  I've been a QVC customer since day 1 and never in the decades watched programming that didn't interest me.  Back in the early days I didn't watch the capodimonte or dolls  and such.

I've never understood the non-stop QVC watching and using it for background.  If I want background noise I put on the radio or play CDs.

I see the Q the same way I see department stores.  I don't shop in every department in any store, I go to the departments that sell items I'm interested in.  I don't expect any store to stop selling items that don't interest me anymore than my interests should be dropped to suit other shoppers.

Re: Getting sick of watching QVC

Funny thing - Like several others have mentioned, I will go to the drop-down "Recently on Air" tab and do a quick look to see if there's anything remotely interesting to me, or has been, or is coming up. This morning, that was missing from my drop-down options for most of the day. Only "Item  Currently on Air" was there. About 2 hrs ago, it was there again. More IT fiddling.

Re: Getting sick of watching QVC

Try one of your TV channels that has music, mine has one without commercials if that's why some leave it on Qvc. Or don't watch and with the money saved pay for a movie channel with your savings from not shopping all day. Both are far more entertaining.

Oh goodness, you seem upset. It didn't take long at all, I don't get why people just don't turn the channel, perhaps you can enlighten us all!

@Jacie@Sorry to be so snarky, but it just gets old. When somebody asks in a post why don't you change the channel, do you think  that person hits themselves on the forehead and exclaims, "Thank you, so much, I had no idea such a thing was available !!!!".  It's almost like you are saying, are you stupid ? I hope that was enlightening.

Well, in all honesty, @QVCkitty1 on the boards people do hear from alot of folks who don't seem to be able to handle the obvious, so that gets old too! Turn the channel, easy peasy.

Why don't they just give Dooney & Burke an entire DAY. What's up with that? QVC is like the movie Groundhog Day.

Yep, totally over it and have been now for several years. I solved the problem. I stopped watching...  Like others, I might check to see what's been programmed or presented, but there's almost never anything anymore that induces me to tune in...

The point isn't whether or not changing the channel is an option. I think we all realize that it is... The point is expressing the desire to see more choices offered by QVC is becoming a prerequisite for watching...

Re: Getting sick of watching QVC

I have enjoyed shopping on the Q for many years.  But like the OP, I am noticing I shop a lot less.  I think I use other sites a lot more.  I have two orders pending, but generally several weeks pass between orders.

I'm finding a lot of the pushing of products annoying, so I mute the audio a lot,

or I'll check things out online later.  I am ready to buy, and I wish there were more

items that appealed to me.   I also prefer transparency.  QVC used to state

Made In China (or Viet Nam, etc), but now can get by with "Imported".  I suppose a rule of thumb might be:  if they are proud of where it is from, ie, France, it will be stated.  Otherwise, it can be assumed it is from China.
