Getting sick of watching QVC

Lately I'm getting sick of watching the Q.   It seems to be the same products.  For the past couple of months, I haven't ordered nearly as much and I appreciate not getting a $250 cc bill.  Anyone else feel this way?

Re: Getting sick of watching QVC

I feel no loyalty to QVC.   If they offer something I want & can't get it locally, I'll buy.   Department stores sill have better deals on fashion & handbags with their sales & coupons.   Many offer free shipping or you can go to the store and try on for FREE.

I purchased a saffiano leather D&B small Lexington at Macy's last month for $108, after all discounts & free shipping.   QVC can't or won't touch that deal.

Over 20 years ago I started buy from QVC for the sterling jewelry.  It was good quality, good price.   Then all the other retailers caught on.    There's nothing special anywhere anymore.

Seriously? Last couple of months - more like last couple of years.

I find it more like TV to clean to anymore LOL. Background noise and something to just scan now and then. Now if I see a day of products I am interested in (might watch beauty awards) I may watch for an hour or so.....but that is all these days. Is like watching The Walking Dead....same thing different day LOL. Gets boring after awhle eh!

I've cut down watching it tremendously the past couple of years. Too much of the same old same old. Most of the time these days when I put QVC on it's just to kill a couple of minutes while advertisements are running on whatever show I'm watching.

Yep.  I would be sick of QVC too if I watched during times when they weren't showing me what I want to buy.  I have managed in the past couple of weeks to have 5 pending orders after watching LOGO, "IT" cosmetics, and SG.  There is a guide on my cable tv that tells me what is showing for the day.  If there is nothing of interest, I don't even tune in.  Background noise for me is radio.

I check the schedule.  It tells you what is on and when.  That way you don't have to watch what you aren't interested in.

Re: Getting sick of watching QVC

Today's schedule guaranteed I wouldn't even cruise by except for ITKWD. There are more and more days like that for me.

Before they decided to do 12-15 hrs out of 24 hrs as the TSV (whatever it might be), and before themed days were done every other day, there was much more a "something for everyone" atmosphere, and the knowledge that several times throughout any given day there would very likely be *something* you would want to watch and possibly purchase.

When people get out of the habit of watching because there is hour after hour and day after day of one item, or one theme, they can easily get out of the habit of watching, period.

Me too, and I may check the Items Recently on Air if there is a show of interest sandwiched into a mattress marathon (like today). I don't like TV on if I'm not watching, unless it's football and I can check in if it gets loud to see what's happening while cooking. Lol
