I think Gary is an addition to the line. After all, he's no different than any other designer, like Susan Graver for instance. And both of them know more about their lines than the host, who is there to give colors, sizes and prices plus the ignored updates. I'm not interested how many they had and how many have sold and "how very popular" they are.

Funny how most women's clothing is designed by men. Especially the high-end stuff.

Since QVC introduced the Denim & Co. line many years ago, the hosts have always presented it without guest, and did a great job. They don't need a guest for the line and just like David Markstein doesn't add anything to the jewelry shows. Gary doesn't add anything to the Denim & Co. shows, if anything him and David take away from the presentations. Just because they work on the design and buying teams doesn't mean that they are the best ones to talk about the items on air.

I agree.

Why do men think they know better than women how their clothes should be designed? Must be their huge egos.

Why would you assume that they think that. I've never heard a male designer say anything of the sort. I bet a man becomes a designer because he enjoys it and becomes successful if he is good at it.

Gary seems to be a nice guy but why do we need 2 people talking about a top or crop pants? My personal opinion is that it's overkill. I was home sick the other day and caught a D&C show with Gary and Carolyn. I like the way Carolyn presents, and I thought Gary was really not necessary.
