OK...I have tried watching garden shows with other hosts this last 2 weeks. Other than Sandra and her knowledge is no where near Carolyn's, I realized very quickly they knew nothing about gardening. How disappointing. No more garden shows for me.

Brecks has had many ongoing sales that are more cost saving than QVC  along with a better selection  and free shipping offers

@Tatanoo46    Sandra wants to do "DECORATING" instead of gardening.  Her shows are awful, IMO.

Guy on HSN is more my style. I really couldn't imagine Carolyn weilding a pole saw or trying to dig in my soil.

I almost bought a wind spinner thing from Guy's show a few minutes ago but backed out when I saw the $5.95 shipping for a $17. Item.

@Icegoddess  I've seen her wield a pole saw and can easily imagine her on her knees digging in dirt.  She's a person her picks up poop, empties litter boxes and cleans up barf.  All necessary on a large scale when you have so many pets.  She's not afraid of getting her hands dirty.

@Kachina624 I didn't say I couldn't see her digging in dirt; I said MY dirt.  Not all dirt is the same.  And cleaning litterboxes is child's play compared to my dirt.  Even the sprinkler installation guys complained about my dirt which means it's even harder to dig in than the surrounding city.  I just laugh at the digging demos in the gardening shows using basically potting soil.  And there's a difference between wielding a pole saw on set with the branches placed in a solid vice at waist level vs over your head.

@Icegoddess My yard is a combo of packed sand mixed with dirt.  When I tried to stick a large carpentry nail in the ground, I had to get a hammer and beat it in. It's just like cement.
