It's another anything to make a buck holiday. If they can benefit from a statement, they'll go for it.

Retailers will do anything to make a buck. It's been this way for as long as I can remember.

I do realize that Memorial. Day weekend always has sales going on. But, to change the name of an important holiday to make it cutesy is very disrespectful, in my opinion. If they wanted to have a Memorial Day/weekend sale, fine, but don't mock the name of the holiday we are supposed to be giving thanks for the brave men and women who lost their lives fighting for our freedoms.  I am not sure whose brilliant idea it was, but I think it was an epic failure. Between Kim Gravel, LUG Life and QVC, I would have hoped that someone would have expressed their distaste for this campaign.

That's right up there with Fri-yay.  These people who change things to suit themselves-Let's hope they don't become a fad. I just cringe when I hear these.

I agree 100%!  I haven't been watching QVC this weekend, but if I would have, I would have said a few words to the TV and those idiots who said it.  We should be thanking God for the freedoms we enjoy because of those who fought & lost their lives for our freedom.

A part of that freedom includes having to put up with disrespectful idiots.

I stopped buying LUG a few years ago due to their bad judgment and bad business practices. I was a superfan for years. They also started feeling like opportunists who had to have have a piece of every pie instead of the mom and pop company that they started as.

Just like bopping around with Jesus selling pants, the Q hosts seem to have no values and sensitivity to the meaning and value to others.

Most people take seriously the loss of father, mother, sons, daughters, relatives who have given the ultimate their lives for our country.

The Q used to be aware of important matters, which have been discarded along the way.

Good grief.  There is a lot to be outraged about.  Using the word "Glamorial' is the least of them . The cuts that were made to Veteran benefits in 2025 is a far more serious thing to be outraged about on Memorial Day.

Re: GLAMorial Day????? How offensive!

How about suckers and losers being used to describe troops killed in action? There are many things that have been said and done to disrespect and mock our soldiers, but that one takes the cake.
