Posters are certainly entitled to be offended and upset.  Understandably. 

But my personal opinion is that QVC didn't have much to do with the event directly, except for that fact that two significant brands it features were involved.  Neither is owned or controlled by QVC.  It's not on the QVC/HSN streaming channels.  I received no marketing or promotional material from QVC, but maybe the OP and others did?

No one on camera is a QVC employee.  It was, however, promoted by a QVC employee on QVC media platforms.

I guess that's reason enough for some.

To me Memorial Day is a somber holiday, it's a day of remembering our loved ones, our military and family members, past and present. It's not about shopping for clothing, household items or celebrations. 

Totally tasteless and crass to do otherwise on such a special day.

Just to clarify as some don’t know the difference between Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day. Veterans Day is for all those that served in the armed forces. Memorial Day is for the military personnel who died serving this country. Danielle Steel a very famous successful author included people who died of Covid in her thank you on Memorial Day tribute. So people can be confused.
