GIFT PRESENTATION?

[ Edited ]

If a host/vendor presents an item that's obviously meant for gift giving, I'd like to know if it comes in a nice box (show that) or just taped up in a plastic bag and I have to purchase the box/wrappings.

I purchased the Camuto wallet for my daughter, but it'd be nice if it was boxed and easier to mail. When showing Diamonique and some other items, they're happy to show the gift box it will come in.

@Shanus

That is an excellent point! It would be very helpful in planning ahead (and I need all the help I can get).

I also occasional use the bill to ship to (best friend lives in Texas) and would love to know how the item is going to show up at their house.

I would assume (yes I know what they say about assumptions) if they don't show a box then it does not come in one.  That way you are prepared.

I ordered the Catherine Zeta-Jones wrap robe several months ago.  It's so beautifully packaged I can't stand the thought of ripping it open.  It sits there where I can periodically admire it.  I may never wear it.
