I live in the deep South and we call it a "BUGGY". But in other parts of the USA it is called by different names. I read that in the UK it is called a "TROLLEY". Just for fun, tell what you call the thing with wheels you put your groceries in at the Supermarket. And put where you are, such as: Midwest, New England or where ever. Thanks.

In NewJersey we call them shopping carts.

I'm in Midwest and we too call them carts. Never heard shopping cart called a trolley or buggy.

Carriage or cart. More often the former.

Midwest: mostly just called a cart, although I do hear grocery cart or shopping cart occasionally

In PA here and yes some do call it a buggy. I call it a shopping cart.

We always called it a shopping wagon or shopping carriage..I was a NYC girl..till we moved to the "sticks".
