Re: Forum change

[ Edited ]

FYI - if anyone is interested, I started a thread about this in the Community Chat forum earlier this morning.  There's been some sharing about observations and maneuvering through the new format.

Very briefly the new website.  Now it's back.  I didn't mind the new version. Just surprised me jumping back to the old way.

There's a brief adjustment period, but it seems fine.

I don't like it.  I have it on Safari & Brave but not on Chrome so far.  I am on Chrome.

Took a look at the forum on Chrome and wow I can barely see it I will stick with Safari as long as possible

I access the forums on my iPhone and nothing’s changed for me. It still looks the same as always.

I'm on an iPad, using Safari as my browser and it looks exactly the same as it always has.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Let's just say I was shocked, when I just logged in.  I thought I must've done something wrong!  I'm finding it too "busy", but I guess I'll adjust to it over time.  No choice really.  I thought perhaps they were changing it to align better with smartphones.  (I'm either on a desktop or iPad, while browsing the forums.)

Too bad the emojis are the same.  And, unless I'm not seeing it, they haven't added back in the "ignore" button.  (I've just found out on another thread that they have, indeed, added in the "Ignore" option.  That's a plus.)

FWIW, On my iPhone, Safari browser, as of right now I still get the original version, but if I open a Safari Private window, this forum is in the new format.
