My husband always tells me that! I tell him I just saved 30-50% on something and he tells me could have saved 100% if you didn't by it!

@SharkE .  My sister remarried after losing a spouse.  She seemed so relaxed and was her own boss for a couple of years.

This one has her on a short chain now.  Tells her who she can talk to, for how long, listening to her conversations.  Won't let her drive anymore.  I can't stand being around him😩

@SharkE That must be a relief. I was lucky that my late DH wasn't like that at all. I have always shopped sensibly and he loved that I could always find sales and good prices.

Just to clarify, I'm free to purchase what I please.   He's not telling me to take it back.  It's a comment because he knows I like to shop, and we both laugh about it.  No controlling each other here.
