Don't get me wrong...I poke fun at the Q on occasion, but I have no delusions that they are going to change their operations any time soon.

I bemusedly chuckle and shake my head when I see magical hot dogs for 100 bucks a dozen or steaks from mythical cows for 40 dollars a pound, or 9 apples for fifty bucks.

I smile wryly at coffee cakes for 85 dollars, magical candy sprinkled cheese cakes for 90 bucks, or little balls of chocolate candy poked and prodded with a pointy knife tip to demonstrate the  wholesome creaminess of their centers....

PS: QVC Is the BEST comedy show on TeeVee!!

Everything you said makes sense. If the prices are ridiculous, don't buy. If people will buy at such high prices, more power to the seller!

Capitalism is something I believe in and support/benefit from everyday BUT the presenters and hosts should be honest when selling a product. Certain individuals act as if their product is something it isn't while others flat out say "this product is only available at QVC." Imagine my laughter when I see it in a local store. My wife and I watch many of the cooking shows and I have loved cooking since I was a little kid watching and learning from my Italian grandmother so some of the things I see on here leave me shaking my head.

I live in downtown high rise in the city. I garage my car 8 blocks away. Doing any kind of grocery shopping is a hassle. Sure, I could go to Costco, but it’s just worth it if I can have something delivered.
