Re: Fitnation Recumbent Bike

I'll echo everything @RespectLifesaid.

Few years back I gave up trying to ride outside when the joggers, dog walkers, and strollers literally didn't stay in their lane. Too many close calls.

This was an easy and affordable alternative. Assembly wasn't difficult and didn't take too long. When it was delivered I opened the box at the front door, and took pieces upstairs, one at a time so the weight wasn't an issue.

The bike is extremely quiet so if planning to exercise while watching TV there's no interference. My resistance bands are also on the front and I constantly use them. I keep my bike in the recumbent position.

Only two things I don't like. First, the monitor screen, which I don't really use, is slightly tilted. Wish it was either flat so I could put a cup of coffee on it, or a higher incline so a tablet or book is easily readable.

Second, I'm very short so swinging my leg across to disembark is not always easy. I've placed a step stool on one side and raise myself up so I can get off more easily.

Peloton support and community is amazing. You don't have to be young or a pro to enjoy it.

Re: Fitnation Recumbent Bike

I just got this bike a few days ago and am very pleased. Took me about an hour to put together with no problems other than I couldn't get the foot pedal straps attached. Figure I can live without them. I used to walk at least 5 miles a day but am experiencing some foot/ankle pain, so this is perfect I can get some exercise without putting all that stress on my joints. I have no idea how you would ever ever get it packed up to return though....

Re: Fitnation Recumbent Bike

@Grnthumb hope that you like the bike if you get it. I wasn't willing to spend the $$ for a Peleton bike either. The deal breaker for me is that their pedals were not compatible with the spin shoes SPD cleats I already had and spending another $100 for shoes made no sense to me.  I bought a Bowflex spin bike instead. I've had it almost a year now and I'm very happy with it. I bought the upgraded seat for comfort & got free shipping & assembly. good thing because it is NOT light!

Re: Fitnation Recumbent Bike

I too have the older version with resistance bands in front, which I use and was pleased to hear1 you can get replacements. I use hand weights now while cycling because mine are shot. I purchased the bike when Covid began and use it every day. I just turned 80 and assembled it myself when I bought it. I am kinda handy but the procedure was easy and the bike is great quality for the price.  I also use it in upright position and have short legs and agree it is mildly tricky mounting and dismounting.  I wholeheartedly recommend this bike!
