Re: First time for everything

I agree with the O.P.  Not bashing the host.  Just stating the obvious.  How many times do you have to talk about easy pay, discounted prices and today is the last day?  How about letting Valerie talk about her products.

I didn't see all of the show, but I thought it was fine. I guess I missed when she went off the rails or whatever. The powers that be will not be doing anything about any show. If products sell they are happy. JMO.

Perhaps it's just me, but Valerie seems very subdued in this show with Jennifer.  I think Valerie is sensible enough to not try to get in the way when a host has a selling vibe that Valerie may not connect with.  Or, maybe Valerie is just tired from an already full day of shows and presentations.

It could be just my imagination of course.

@Caaareful Shopper  I noticed the same thing....she seems a bit distant...perhaps she is tired.

Re: First time for everything

I really think the hosts are being told to ramp up their selling techniques.  Almost all of the shows I have watched, the hosts are almost out of breath after giving a presentation.

What was the point in posting this?  Big whoop dee doo.  You don't like that particular host.  You already decided to watch a later show which is the adult thing to do.  It's what we all do from time to time.   Did some host bashing make you feel better?  Were you hoping that others would jump in and continue the bashing?

She posted because that is what we do on a discussion board @chrystaltree  What are you doing on here?

Happy to say I have not even done so much as a Q check today.  Not remotely interested in anything having to do with Christmas or watching hyperactive adults trying to sell it.

Jen please slow down your presentations.  I know you are friends with Kerstin who always seems to be on an adrenaline rush.

Whoa!  Relax. The OP was voicing her opinion. Too bad if you don't like it, no one likes every opinion.  You could have just moved on if it created that much angst for you.

Wow!  Some posters really do think that they own and regulate the boards.

The OP stated their opinion, as have many others.

(The word police also told us we must not say too expensive.  We must say I can't afford it.......how condescending.)
