Gold or platinum clad was the rabbit hole for me too, @Shanus.  I still have beautiful pieces from Honora, Tacori and Judith Ripka.  And of course, diamonique.

thanks everyone!

A Nolan Miller piece of jewelry in the mid 1990's, I believe. Mary Beth was the host.

Oh boy, that's going wayyyyy back (1987).  My first reaction was it had to be jewelry, but when I think about it, it was probably one of those goofy items QVC sold over and over during the day like those two hand held bug zappers or that shower clock radio.  Remember those?!

wagirl I remember Steve Colantuno. He always looked quite dapper and seemed like a very nice man.

I was traveling and happened to come across QVC in a hotel room multiple decades ago.

Host Lisa Robertson was selling beautiful long, dangling, gold chandelier earrings, and they were really shimmering in the light.

Okay, I decided, I would like to wear those as well.  Yes, I still have them.

I bought so much lovely reasonably priced gold jewelry from the Q, and HSN, and Shop HQ, that I do not really need anymore.

I never found QVC the go-to place for formal or business clothes, so I mainly just bought casual clothes, although Bob Mackie always had unique designs!

@Still Raining  I still remember my membership number, and the lucky number drawing. I won quite a few times.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

It would have been a pair of Joan Rivers earrings, most likely hoops.  Joan was my intro to the Q as I trusted Joan and seeing her (way back in the day) was all I needed to take the leap onto TV shopping.

Joan and Kathy Levine were so much fun to watch and I really appreciated some laughter after a long work day.  No computer or iphone to distract me in those days -- 1998 (?) not exactly sure which year it would have been.   We've come a long way, baby!  Yes I am old, LOL.
