I think mine was Capodimonte, a floral basket thingy that I bought as a gift for my Aunt for her 75th birthday . She collected it, and I was so happy to find it on QVC. I remember Steve Colantuno sold it, and you had to call while it was on air to get the lower price.
After that first purchase, I would buy a Doony bag each year when it was a TSV. It always came with extras, like a dust bag.
do you remember your first purchase, or who the host was who got you to pick up the phone and call?
All of this, of course was pre-internet.

Saturday morning with JT. Bought a cosmetic bag which turned out to be too big and I returned it. Second purchase was a pin supporting breast cancer awareness. Still have and wear that. This was in the early '90s.

I discovered QVC while recovering from lung cancer surgery in 2004. My 1st purchase was a large Lee Sands eel skin wallet.

I think it was a makeup kit from one of the vendors that has been gone for a very long time. If I heard the name again I could remember but not now off of the top of my head. It had to be in the early 2000s.
Before that I wouldn't have been caught dead buying from the Q until a good friend told me how much she, her sister and mom all loved to shop here.
I took a second look and have been hooked ever since!

In 1989...Diamonique stud earrings in 14k gold. I think they were about $15. Host was the Diamonique queen...Kathy Levine!

Judith Jack Marcasite ring. It's a band ring and I still wear it occasionally. I can't remember when that was but it was a long time ago!

Mine was a 14k gold ring with an 18k gold panda coin. I've still got it but never wear anything but silver.

My first purchase was in 1999. I was looking for a unique gift for a friend who was a Star Wars fan, and QVC happened to have some special merchandise tied to Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace that was released that year. I honestly can't remember exactly what the item was—though I recall that he liked it a lot—and I didn't shop at the Q again for a few more years.
My next purchase was a couple of Honora necklaces, and then I discovered the wide array of kitchen items and Valerie Parr Hill decor and never stopped shopping... ![]()
