From the Earth or a lab I wouldn't pay $ 3500.00 plus tax. To be delivered to me by UPS, Fed Ex or USPS. I would go directly to a Jewelry store for something that price.

They use a very small piece of diamond to grow the lab diamond creating the same environment a diamond would form. Supposedly, it has the same composition and properties of a diamond.  CZ's and Moissonite do not.

They have had to develop a new way of detecting the difference between the two to make sure no one is passing them along as diamonds formed in the earth.

Diamonique is a fake diamond, I think CZ. It does not have the same composition as a diamond and cannot be called a diamond.

Absolute diamonds are real diamonds from the earth.

Lab grown diamonds are the same as real diamonds, but they're created in a lab instead of underground. That makes them more affordable. It also makes them conflict-free, which I like more than the price.

Maybe Diamonique and Absolute are man made CZ's?  The Fire Light Diamonds are too expensive.

Nancy called them affordable. Woman Very Happy

Maybe that's why I don't buy much from the Q anymore.

Affordable is a relative term, but they are more affordable than a mined diamond of the same size, color, cut, and clarity.

Dmq does not look like diamonds, both moissanite and lab grown do.  Moissanite is less expensive than lab created because the lab created has the same properties of  diamonds.  Steve Irwin's daughter chose a lab created diamond for her engagement ring,  it was an ethical consideration and it was very expensive.  I would choose moissanite as it looks like a diamond, costs less, and I support conflict-free.

First impression:  You will need to have jewelry design artists like Jean Dousset, or Victoria Wieck to sell at those prices.  Otherwise, the brand will go nowhere, unless you lower the prices.

This is the response I found on the internet re: lab grown diamonds

Lab-created synthetic diamonds have no resale value. Take a look at this 1.20ct diamond. There is no doubt it is a nice looking diamond. Yet no jeweler will buy them back and if you try to sell them on eBay, you’ll get pennies on the dollar for it. So, from a value perspective, you would need to buy the lab-created diamond at a massive discount to justify giving up the value retention of natural diamonds.

I hope people are not falling for this and I am very surprised QVC is even offering it.

They look beautiful, and they are numbered on each stone.  Resale is "nill" so don't buy as an investment.

Buy REAL people... and buy what you can afford.

All I can say QVC wonders why jewelry sales have been declining for many years...and this is an example why....

Where are the moderately priced jewelry that generated lots of sales and special jewelry days many of us waited for ???........Now all we get are limited styles, Byzantine style, or just chains, or same old designs, the ole Italian jewelry with circle designs, fake or or lab created diamonds and all are overpriced.....
