Re: Finally really losing interest in QVC

@JoshsMom  What I found in the past...when I bought tee shirts from Chico's and washed them a few times they looked terrible. They might be cheaper but do not hold up. Any tee I purchased from Isaac Mizrahi or Denim and Co. looks much better after seasons of wearing and washing. I still think (most of the time) you get what you pay for. Sometimes bargains are not worth it in the long run.

Re: Finally really losing interest in QVC

I really appreciated the convenience of QVC but the on air programming has become unwatchable for me once the dual hosts became the "in" thing. In addition, the new hosts don't entice me to shop, so once confronted with just online shopping I've started shopping with various other retailers. My shopping with QVC is easily down 75% compared to last year.

@JoshsMom  Agree 100%!  For many I think QVC is a habit/addiction.  So many other places to shop online with better prices/s&h.

Where?I'd seriously like to find a retailer that sold long pants. Hate the ankle, crop, and etc. kind. Please  tell me where you shop!

I received a 15% off $50 fashion from QVC-- can't find anything I want, never mind need.

Even with free shipping, last free shipping day didn't buy either.

I'm not trying to not spend----but I think being unable to tolerate many hosts, and being uninterested in most merchandise I've stopped shopping.

Big deal for me since am disabled and can't shop in stores.

Used to spend upward of $5000 a year on jewelry between QVC, HSN, JTV, SHOP NBC.

$5000 !?!?   no wonder they send you couponsSmiley Surprised best customer perk!

@HLP   Macy's and Blair are 2 of my "go to" stores.  Frequent sales and frequent free shipping.

Haven't bought pants there but Lands End, LL Bean sell many long pants.

Re: Finally really losing interest in QVC

I can relate - I don't watch QVC hardly at all anymore but there are a few particular tried and true items that I go online to purchase with them...A lot of factors turned me off of QVC, high prices, slow delivery, not to mention one partular host that is on most evenings that I simply can not bear to watch.  I do most of my shopping on Amazon now, must faster delivery and they don't have to tell me about how wonderful their daughters are, blah, blah, blah.

@SeaMaiden   I easily spent upward of $5000 a year with QVC, probably close to double - and never - ever got a coupon.

Finally really losing interest in QVC

[ Edited ]

Macy's is my premier online shopping experience!

The tiered rewards program is terrific.

QVC will be announcing a "loyalty" program,  so we'll see how it compares to those of its competitors.

Me too!  Would be seriously depressed if Macy's ever went out of business.  Would not miss QVC!!

Re: Finally really losing interest in QVC

I know what you mean - when I have a good coupon, it burns a hole in my pocket.  But I have to resist the urge to buy when there's nothing I want or need.  Good on you for doing that.
