Finally really losing interest in QVC

I received a 15% off $50 fashion from QVC-- can't find anything I want, never mind need.

Even with free shipping, last free shipping day didn't buy either.

I'm not trying to not spend----but I think being unable to tolerate many hosts, and being uninterested in most merchandise I've stopped shopping.

Big deal for me since am disabled and can't shop in stores.

Used to spend upward of $5000 a year on jewelry between QVC, HSN, JTV, SHOP NBC.

@IMW   Agree 100%!!!  I have a 20% off coupon and have been trying to find something to use it on.  Checked D&C, SG, IM--nothing is appealing.  I may wind up buying wine which has free shipping every day if I can't find something I want.  So sad!!!

I used to buy from Q but rarely have in the last 5+ years. I always price check if I see something I like and can find it elsewhere for less money.

The Q lost me years ago.

Coupons and phone calls will not be luring me back.

Re: Finally really losing interest in QVC

I still find items on QVC that interest me. Just purchased skincare for $10 cheaper than any place else offered it. I also purchased jeans that were on special ( for that show only in a color I could not find at other sites. I do admit I am buying less than previous years. I just think I have too much stuff.

Re: Finally really losing interest in QVC

I understand how you are feeling.   I have been more of an HSN person but have watched both channels for many years and spent more than I should have with much of it being donated in the past.   I too have been losing interest these recent years and have really toned down the "unnecessary" shopping.   I do still enjoy watching the fashion shows but some of the clothing I just don't like or need anymore.  And I won't even get started on the jewelry story, LOL!    And 15% is really not very much of a savings, IMO.

Re: Finally really losing interest in QVC

More times than not, I turned away from QVC presentations because of the hosts.

But I still shop on QVC -- I just do most of my shopping by using their website like any other retailer.  There are literally thousands of items that never make it on air.  It's amazing what they have online.

As always, I do a competitive search for prices, but overall, I do really well here.

@IMW   Thank you for mentioning jewelry!!!  Just ordered an American West earring using my 20% off.  #J343321 Sterling silver, made in USA for $20!  I'm a happy camper!

Re: Finally really losing interest in QVC

I just want to say a big "thank you to QVC" because your prices have increased so much that now I can go back to shopping at my brick and mortar stores and save money! I just bought some GORGEOUS tee shirts from Chicos last week for $29.00 each. They came today and the quality is unbelieveable. I became too comfortable shopping at the "Q" and I didn't do my due dilligence and shop around. I'm just reminding everyone that there are other stores out there that ship to your home. You don't have to pay these prices. When a tee shirt dress from Isaac is over $83.00, I need to move on. When a host pressures you to buy something on easy pay, you need to remember you're still paying an inflated price.

I know many of you love Valerie Parr Hill, but the last 4 items I purchased from her arrived damaged. I can save a lot more money at Hobby Lobby with their 50% off and also at Home Goods.

@JoshsMom  Agree 100%!  For many I think QVC is a habit/addiction.  So many other places to shop online with better prices/s&h.
