What are the chances of receiving dirty/ worn or washed and shrunken fashion item? I've never chanced it before but don't want to get stuck. Even though cs would let me return it, don't want the problem.

I received three items like that. One was a beautiful red coat which I ordered when it was presented as a TSV. Delivered in a box with torn plastic over the coat, no hanger and it had black shoe prints on it.

I've purchased several as is clothing items.  I think every piece except one was still in original packaging.  CS would take care of it if something was worn or shrunk.

I've purchased final sale items from QVC before and have no complaints. One item I received was a different style than what was pictured and described on the website, but CS handled it as well as they could.  I was given a full refund and told to keep or donate the incorrect item. I guess once sold QVC doesn't want final sale items back clogging up the warehouse.

I always wonder abt the clothes the Hosts or models wear when they are demonstrating various  self tanner lotions or skin cream . saw one Host  getting self tanner on  her top,

 Bought one  " As is " item and it was perfect . I was lucky, but don't plan to buy anymore unless deeply discounted

@frenchie

If you were to receive an item the way you described, it would be a Defective item and Still qualify for a return,

With only limited quantity, sizes, and/or colors left in stock, these items are offered at a Final Sale Price and may not be returned nor exchanged. QVC’s Return Policy does not apply to Final Sale Price items. QVC® will only accept returns or exchanges for product defects or QVC errors. Call Customer Service at 888-345-5788 for such returns.

@frenchie    I had that happen to me once.    I ordered a new, expensive, leather handbag from the Q.    It had old candy wrappers and half eaten candy inside.  Disgusting!   Of course, I sent it back and was not charged for return shipping.

Not from the Q, but I once got a pair of shoes with two different widths.  Crazy.  Same size, which is what I looked at, but one medium, one wide.

@Boehm Collector   That is gross.  Yikes.

@frenchie - In my experience, the clothing being sold as "Final Clearance" has the same chance of being new or used as any other clothing item QVC sells—I've paid big bucks for brand new items and received things that were worn and disgusting, and I've paid next to nothing for clearance items and received pieces that were brand new and pristine.

No matter what, customer service will make it right for you if you get something awful, and the return process is actually very simple. Good luck!
