I hope I am wrong, but I have a terrible feeling that Mary Beth Roe is going to retire from the Q.  Her time out of work, because of the accident, has given her a taste of what it is to do what your heart desires.  She has more time for her children, church and family.  She stated that her son is running for office, so she is going to be busy with that.  She hasn't been back to do the diamonique Wednesday show for two weeks.  I have watched her be pregnant with her 3 boys, and I thoroughly love her!!!  She is such a sweet sweet person.  I have no complaints about her, whatsoever.   I have heard people ( on here) complain about her using one particular phrase too much, but that doesn't bother me, I couldn't do her job, and I bet the complainers couldn't do it either.

If I am wrong, I will be very very happy, but I wish her well in anything she does.

As someone who retired due to a serious injury, I can honestly say that retirement is the best thing that I have done for myself in a long time.  All those things that have been put aside because of a job are now attainable and fun.  If she does retire, she deserves to enjoy the rest of her life and I would wish her well.  For many of us, the grass on the other side is definitely a bright shade of green.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@cubagalAlthough I hate to see those hosts I have enjoyed for so long disappear, I certainly love my retirement enough to want others to have their share also.

I haven't been watching for a long time -  maybe I should catch MBR just in case your premonition is accurate.

It would be a miracle for someone to stick with that crazy job long enough to retire.  QVC HAS CHANGED SO MUCH AND NOT FOR THE BETTER, I IMAGINE ITS VERY SAD FOR HER.  I know because the same thing happened to me in my job and I retired because of it.  Times change.  She may be ready for something new.

Interesting first post, since MB went on and on when she got to return back on the air about how much she had missed being at QVC.  Since I don't watch the Diamonique shows - nor much else on QVC - I hadn't noticed she's been missing again since her return.  It would be odd, though, given how eager she seemed to come back to work.

Just curious OP.... Why are you posting this???? Because of a "feeling" you have? This is how rumors get started and the pot stirrers jump in and before you know it the speculation becomes some people's "reality".

I too have watched Mary Beth Roe,  from the very beggining.

I can honestly say, I really like her and have always enjoyed watching when she was on air.  I think "She is a sweet, loverly woman a real lady". Whatever her decision...

I know I will miss seeing her on the Q.  I wish her the very best in whatever she does.

And herein lies the danger of threads like  what's posted in the first post.  Nobody has said she is off the Q. People are supposing things.
