An additional item may cost $4.00 but w/ S&H, it turns out to be a savings of only $1.00!!

exactly my thoughts. That worked once upon a time but with the shipping charge for EACH item being applied, you don't save more to buy more.  the math simply doesn't work

Actually, the math does work.  Each item costs three dollars to ship.  If you bought a second item, you would pay the original price (times two) plus shipping (times two) minus four dollars.

People forget tht shipping costs oney -- or do not want to admit it  It does.  Some people may not wish to save the oney -- tht's great.  For some people though, it may be worth it.

It's like everything else, you have to do the math & decide.   All the TSVs in August are shipped free, so the buy more, save more works.  At least it suckered me in on the Fairy Lights!

If I'm buying two, I'll take the price break.
