Feedback on Easy Pay?

I have yet to purchase anything using the Easy Pay option but I'm considering it now for a large purchase.

I have read forums about the bank holding the funds as "pending" and my question is this.....does the bank hold the entire purchase amount or just the first Easy Pay payment amount?

Any feedback would be helpful! Happy shopping!
