I use Rakutan but are there better ones out there?

I use Rakuten. I don't know if there are any better ones out there. They all offer different rebate amounts at different times, but they all do basically the same thing.

I use either topcashback or befrugal. I check to see which one gives the highest percentage.

When I first heard of these a few years ago, and signed up, I did both Rakuten and Topcashback. I found TCB the easiest just to get done, at that time. It does take long to get repayment/process with vendors etc, so avg time for money back is 3 mos. after my purchase. But it transfers right into my bank account, when at the time I tried Rakuten, it was a snail mail check I'd get after a certain amount was met. I just didn't use that one that often...I think I still have $1.69 in there, lol. Maybe there's other options to process now in Rakuten, or even then, but I chose a snail mail check, at that time, for some reason.
At any rate, I just stuck with one, TCB, still use it every time I shop with Q, HSN, and that's about all. Over the past few years, my little increments have added up to a little over $200. Worth it, imo, for an easy click, click. Every penny counts these days...actually, always! 😄

How do these work.? What is the process ?

@pggoody ... go to their websites and create an account. It's free. Once signed in look for the website you want to purchase from. Once you click on it you will automatically be directed to the website. Make your purchase as usual.

I only have had experience with the two I've mentioned.
Basically, you make an account with them, fairly easily explained and done on each site. They all work a bit differently, but basically do the same thing...partner with vendors you buy from, and give you money back from your
purchases. They run different discount amounts each day, sometimes several days remain the same discount for a while.
You sign up. When you want to shop, say, QVC, I go into my TopCashback account, search QVC to see what the discount is that day, you just click on the discount button, it takes you then to QVC's site, it should show on Topcashback's site that they've "recorded your visit to QVC", you then shop on Q. (I also usually get an email from TCB to say they've recorded my QVC purchase.
Then a few months later, you'll see in your account your cashback is available to cash out. Several ways to receive it...credit to shop more or, as I do, I just transfer the amt. directly into my checking account, which I've registered there. If you don't wish to put in banking info, I think maybe one of the other ways would work for you.
Hope that helps. Easy to check them out. I'm not completely inept with internet stuff, but I'm no techy either and was able to sign up and learn it easily.

I use TopCashBack.
I found out the hard way that putting items in your cart before clicking through a rebate site will void out the rebate amount. So don't put anything in your cart until after you click through the rebate site first.

I've not had that experience. I do exactly the opposite. I make sure I have everything I want in my cart and then enter the name of the rebate site and check out. I have always received my rebates. I mainly use Topcasback and mrrebates.
