Re: Family farms chicken delay

I opted for a replacement, and it arrived yesterday, frozen with some dry ice left.  The social team was great!  This was my first food order that arrived not cold.  I'm so happy the replacement arrived quickly.  Thanks social team!  They are the best.  Paulette and Sarrah, thank you!

I ordered a Grandma's coffee cake. They sent it UPS to  USPS SUREPOST. It has taken 6 days in this heat.  I am a 80 yr old cancer patient in treatment. I won't eat it as food poisoning would kill me.
I called Customer Care and they said I'd have to call back Monday. They couldn't give me a credit. I am a long time (decades) shopper due to my immunocompromised state. I don' go into the grocery store.

I haven't ever had QVC  food sent Surepost!  Six days for perishable food isn't acceptable.
The box even had "PERISHABLE" labelled right on the front.
I am pretty upset. I don't have much to look forward to but really looked forward to the coffee cale.
I cancelled my two food advance orders out of fear they will use Surepost (USPS)  to hand off from UPS as it is cheaper.
So frustrating.
I did get a response back from Cust Care...and they said they would credit me.
But I still wonder if this is how they are going to deliver food now....you know? Or if it was a mistake. But I can't take the chance again.
