This "free" shipping day never works for me because QVC goes up on the prices to make up for shipping. I have been watching an Oster oven, and hesitated because of the $21 shipping. Today it's "free" shipping, and the price of the oven increased by $25. Goes to show you, free is never free. I've always said with shopping that it's the bottom line that matters. No sales gimmick is going to make me buy.

I had a wish list ready (online QVC) and now can't access it. I also wanted some L n L, but not much available. Guess I'll just get on with my day and forget about it. Instant Pot sounds interesting, but I really don't need one especially a 6 qt.

Well, to bad for me becuase I ordered a few items earlier this week . Would have liked some kind of notice . I just happened to flip the channel and saw the free shipping today. What kind of management do they have at QVC ?

FWIW, I have made six purchases from my Wish List so far and am contemplating a couple more for gifts—not a single item I've been watching increased in price with the launch of the free shipping event today.

@MomCat - If you're referring to the Oster XL oven, when Mary Beth presented it on ITKWD last week, she mentioned that the sale price was expiring at the end of the day, so I'm fairly sure the current price has been in effect for several days now (I considered getting it as well but wasn't ready to purchase at the time and also was not a fan of the high shipping price).
