Stop making up words. We did not just "conversate." We conversed or we had a conversation. We didn't just conversate.
STOP!!!! Please.

Sometimes it's hard to tell if they say these non-words on purpose or out of ignorance.

Look it up. It's now in the Urban Dictionary online:
Conversate. Is a word that is supposed to be a verb deriving from a mutation of "converse" and "conversation. It is in the dictionary as "non-standard except in some dialects". Some may believe this entry in the dictionary gives the word validity.

We just got a new version of MS Office at work. When writing up an e-mail and "you're" is the correct verbiage, Outlook flags it and wants to replace it with "your."
It simply cannot tell the grammar difference (which it used to be able to do).
I am pretty much convinced that will the advent of texting and participants making quick comments on websites, that the contraction "you're" is going to eventually go by the wayside and "your" will be accepted in it's place.

Don't blame the program, blame the guy who wrote the program. My son the millenial, would say I'm being too old school and to get with it and why does it matter if it makes things easier for people.LOL I can only imagine what our language will look and sound like in 20 years.

Oh, I hope not. What will be next? Will there, their, and they're all be interchangeable?
