last week i ordered a pair of earrings online something was wrong with the web site,,,,instead of one ezpay hold,it held 4,,,its a debit catd so it is messing my account up,,,does anyone know when the holds fall off, i have been a customer since 1994,,, this year qvc is the worst,,,it is going down hill.

When you use a debit card, it usually lists the full amount of the item, although that is not deducted all at once.

The hold time is up to your financial institution. Usually 3 to 7 days. When you use easy pay, only the first installment should be debited from your account, regardless of it being a debit card.

Whenever I've purchased something from anywhere that is on a payment plan and I use my debit card, the entire amount is put on hold, not just the first payment amount. Then just the first payment amount actually goes through and the full amount drops off.

When I purchase an item on easy pay with my debit card, only the first installment is is put on hold, then it is dropped until the item ships. I wonder if it is up to your bank how much is put on hold, since some get the full amount on hold, and others, like me, only have the 1st installment on hold.

The bank would not even know the total amount. If the transaction is ez pay and is handled properly, the bank would only be aware of the first installment.
