Please, stop comparing the 21st century Earth Brand shoes to the original from the 70's. THEY ARE NO WERE CLOSE TO BEING THE SAME QUALITY as the original shoes.  Not even close.

In the 4th grade my mom relented and bought me a pair of Earth Shoes. Uglier than ugly and the most comfortable shoes I ever put on my feet. Yes at 10 yrs old my feet were young and could practically walk on lit charcoal and not have it bug me but my Earth shoes were everything my sneakers, Mary Jane’s, saddle shoes and original Dr Scholls were not. Ever so good for my feet. No blisters, or bother on any part of my feet. No break in, as though these were custom made.
The kids on the playground called me MOONIE, that morphed into MOONSHOES then they landed on and settled with calling me MOONIE BABY. In an ode to that shoe and those days I use that moniker on Q the forum.
