Am I reading this correctly that  you are decorating your houses with stuff from the dollar stores. If so I am surprised better yet disappointed that you would do this.

I know for me and maybe others, it is not so much as decorating all from a dollar store but that what is shown on QVC anyway reminds us or is similar to things seen at these stores.

Not everything of course. I don't think you can find lanterns with moveable scenes and glitter or even huge blown up plastic outdoor characters heaven forbid though many love these,(including our neighbors with kids) and they do make me smile,

but a lot of the ornaments shown- cards, boxes, figurines-yes! Instead of 40-50 dollars you can get it for 1 or 1.25.

Try it, you'll like it and maybe appreciate a great dollar store!😁

Doesn't mean you can't like elegant or more substantial things either.

What matters is you and I and we love each of our very individual homes that make us happy.

Not all dollar stores of course just comparing QVC to many stores with similar things but very different prices.

Some people are starting their adult lives or starting over and dont have much or maybe anything and want to buy their decor. Not everyone shopping at Q or any retailer selling holiday decor already has all they will ever want already.

@BoopOMatic   There was nothing nasty about it.  The original poster is making fun of anyone who enjoyed today's holiday show and purchased anything.  I don't see you calling her out for that.
