@Catch71 I agree it's a tactic to fool you into thinking you're going to get an item home for $9.99 and then take 4-5 months to pay it off.  Make a few purchases a month, all on EP, and you can easily be racking up way over $100 a month in payments.  I' ve used it on DB coats, but I hated payments until June when I haven't worn the coat in months.  If I can't afford something that's well under $100,  I don't use EP.  Plus I'd forget what I had purchased, get the statement and call myself an idiot.

I guess I was not clear in my original post.  I'm talking about items that do not last as long as the EZ pay plan.  I am not asking about clothing, cars or anything that lasts longer than the EZ pays.

Yes, I am aware one does not have to choose the EZ pay option.

My question should have been:

Does it make sense for QVC to to offer the EZ pay option on items that do not last as long as the plan?

Thank you!

What about ordering Nutri System on 4 easy pays when it ships every 30 days. That is a real eye opener when you see your account on the 4th month.  I always look at my auto delivery plans and delay or cancel. It just depends on my needs.

I guess I don't see what is so odd about it.  You pay "afterwards" for many things when you use a credit card.
