Re: Does the Halo Bolt work?

@JudyL

Think of the Halo Bolt as you would Insurance. Peace of mind that’s there if and when you need it most !! 😉

And you never know you just might help someone else in need too !

@RescueLover  - Thank you.  After ordering and cancelling twice, I decided tonight to order it yet again.  The only choice left was the gray one and it was still at the TSV price with free shipping so that was good.  Think you're right that it is like insurance, it will be there if I need it and I'll be glad I have it.

Re: Does the Halo Bolt work?

They work! I just inflated all my tires yesterday with it. I've jumped my car several times. I've jumped cars for clients whose car died in the parking lot. One was an all-electric Prius. They were great Christmas presents for my adult children, who have all used them successfully. One was an auto mechanic and drove a tow truck and used it on his job. I've used it to run my CPAP but it only lasted an hour or so.

Re: Does the Halo Bolt work?

Oh good !! You won’t be sorry you did ! @JudyL ☃️

We have 2 one in each of our vehicles.

When I bought the first one about 5 -6 years ago I gave it to my Husband for Christmas.

He had an older truck that he mostly used in the spring/ summer hauling things he didn’t want scratching up his newer truck. By the time Winter came the battery on it was always dead.

Well as soon as he opened it he asked what it was and I told him to start up his old truck. He said thanks babe. but it won’t work on that old truck and to send it back to get my money back.

I said let’s go outside and try it !! He continued to tell me there was NO WAY it would get it running. I told him if it didn’t work, I could still send it back.

We went out in the freezing cold, he opened the hood, hooked it up and instead of getting in the drivers side to see if it started he got in the passenger side and reached over and …

Just like MAGIC it started !!! 😃

He jumped out of his truck and yelled FREAKIN AWESOME !!! 😂

He was SOLD on the Halo Bolt from that day on ! !

[ Edited ]

P.S. and while I'm here.......

In addition to the Halo for restarting cars, and for using indoors during power outages:

A good idea for indoor power outages is to have several (as many as you can) battery powered lanterns scattered around your home.

And, most important, keep many, many batteries available for those lanterns.

Much better than lighting candles, especially if we have cats jumping up and around.

Just a thought.......

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Re: Does the Halo Bolt work?

I had a Bolt years ago and hated it.

I bought an Anker portable generator and it's great!
