I don't buy as much as I used to (from anywhere, not just QVC), but I always bought a lot of things here for myself this time of year. They have many things for "gift giving" that they didn't have during the year.

The foot massagers and hand held messagers...does anyone use those? They seem the kind of gift you use a few times and relegate to the back of the, closet. I was gifted a foot massager years ago and used it about twice. All the phone chargers and stuff like that are awfully boring to see over and over.

I totally agree with jewelbug. Same items over and over for the past 10 days. Have not watched all weekend

Sorry but I saw electronics being presented a lot along with many other shows and I dont even watch regularly.

I gave up watching awhile ago because of repeat items hour after hour. It might be a warehouse problem. It is like here are your fifty items we will present today, nothing more. Then I have to wonder why they just do not record host #1 and replay the presentation rather than having host #4 do the same routine over again. Not my business so I just choose to not watch. I shop online where I can see it all but then there is a lack of information. I hope it gets to a point where shows are product jammed with new each hour or online has better pictures. Until then....life goes on!

I agree with the OP. It seems this is pretty much how QVC does Christmas year after year. They try to bore customers into submission. Aside from a handful of 'speciality' shows, it's endless lengthy presentations of gadgets, trinkets, electronics, gimmick and 'practial' gifts. I gave up on their approach years ago but see from checking out the guide nothing has changed. As for the old 'it sells' mantra, evidently not enough to pull them out of their multi-million dollar funk... As for that HP computer, how many did they overbuy? It seems to be featured non-stop, every time I surf by, and keep on going.
Price-wise, I wasn't seeing many truly great deals on offer here or at many online retail sites I viewed. 'Black Friday', with some exceptions, of course, has become largely more hype and more smoke and mirrors than what it used to be.
