Been watching so long, I'm losing my memory LOL

QVC bought CVN and took them over.  A few of the folk at CVN started their own network - Value Vision, which has gone through numerous name changes and is now ShopHq.  QVC hired some of the hosts from CVN but not all. QVC had also swallowed up another entity called The Fashion Channel (it was pretty awful).

Yes, I watched CVN all those years ago. I remember Mary Beth was a young host then pregnant with her first child!

I remember watching CVN all those years ago. I believe there was a few hosts which came over with Mary Beth, they're no longer here.

Indeed it was. Based in MN where a lot of entrepreneurs come from.

Oh my, I LOVED the Fashion Channel.  In fact, my area got that before regular QVC.  I believe it was the first place I saw Fashion Formulas (Garanimals for adults -LOL).  There were some great hosts, but one named Jan was a bit kooky, always talked about her son instead of the items and I think she was finally let go.  Those were the days when QVC was new and nothing like anything else. HSN was totally different with countdowns set to order the items.  Total frenzy.

Fashion Formulas!  Hahaha just last week I was trying to think of the name of that brand and actually started worrying about dementia because I could not remember. But indeed it was a long time ago 😀
