Dennis Basso has always been too "touchy feely". If he worked in any other industry and tried that he would be fired or sued. I can't watch his shows and refuse to buy his clothes.

In all his shows I've ever seen (including the most recent,) I have never, ever seen Dennis do anything that would be considered inappropriate or improper and everything he does is considered commonplace,  routine and the norm within this profession.

It's all very, very standard in the fashion world, in any designer's runway shows.

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes  If that's the case, then you either haven't been paying close enough attention, or you missed the programs where it was very obvious to myself and many others, that he pushed the personal boudaries. It's not as if it's so hard to believe is it? It happens all the time. I myself have been on the receiving end of it on several different occasions at the workplace. They were quickly put in their place. So maybe that is why I am more able to notice the not so subtle signs than those who just see it as him "just doing his job".

I've never, ever seen anything unusual or "out of line" for a designer in a fashion show.

Don't ever go backstage during Fashion Week!

You would totally, absolutely not survive the reality of this very real business.

Being a professional runway model is probably not a great career choice for a number of posters herein.

I watched some of his show with Shawn.  I find him creepy and always have.  His voice, his mannerisms, etc.  He might be a talented designer (I  have never purchased his clothing) but I would not go anywhere near him nor would I enjoy his company.

Are you a professional model?  It is their job to display the designer's work the way the designer wants it.  I'm sure that professional models are used to be "touched" in what some of us might consider "inappropriate."  However, that is a model's job.

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes  There are many who use their positions of either authority or "boss" I stand by what I said.

Dennis will be devastated that there are people on the Q Talk forum that don’t want to spend time with him.
