Big NOPE for me. I think I'm going to go to Target now.

I hope the reorganization doesn't affect their customers (us) too much.
I like QVC, or I wouldn't shop here.
I hope it stays on TV. I don't get to watch all of the shows, but I enjoy watching the ones I like when I can. I like being able to see the shows on a big screen TV. I don't want to watch on my phone.
I will not participate in Tik Tok - too many uncertainties about it.
I hope they leave this forum alone. I would miss my friends here, and I probably wouldn't shop as much.
They have been searching for a younger target audience for a while, but they have been very aware of their older customers. I'd like to think that won't change!

I agree , it seems like negative people want them to fail ., major companies have went thru bankrupcy and came back from it. Even Target is struggling at this time.
Target is struggling because it ended their DEI hiring policy and ended LGBTQ shopping items. The Black community, a huge part of their customer base has stopped shopping there by thevthousands .
I disagree. In my area, Target is doing well and has many, many minority customers.
Target may be doing well where you live, but @ellaphant is 100% correct on what has happened to them and why.
They put themselves in a bad position by eliminating some programs they actually piloted and millions have stopped shopping there including me and everyone I know here in NYC.
Their stock dropped and they've stated publicly that they have lost many customers.
It might be true for NYC, but not in CT. Our Target stores are always crowded.

Target is crowded everytime I visit, which is frequently (at least 2-3 times per week.)
I go to the one on 42nd St. and another on 10th Avenue.

As per an article that I read on "Financial Express" dated November 2025, it was stated that Target was already suffering with declining sales due to "inflation" and stated, "The biggest issue for Target is that shoppers have become more cautious and are spending mainly on essentials." The article also stated that yes the "backlash" regarding DEI pullbacks did hurt them on top of what was already going on stating, "Target later acknowledged that stepping back from its DEI efforts hurt its sales."
The GOOD news was stated that, "The company plans to increase capital spending by 25%, to $5 billion next year (which would be 2026), with a major focus on remodeling stores. Target announced a partnership with OpenAI to let customers shop on Target in ChatGPT.
As Michael Fiddelke told analysts, “We’re acting with urgency to make the changes and investments to position Target for sustainable and profitable growth.”
So good luck to Target and your store in CT!

I smell private equity coming for QVC. They'd probably be better off not being a public company, anyway. I sure do wish them well. The enormous data they have about a growing population (mid age to seniors) is surely of great business value and would appeal to private equity.

IMO QVC will lose many shoppers by going off the air. I will be very sad if that happens.

It was expected given their bankruptcy filing.
Fyi, this isn't the first time. They were kicked off the stock market a few years ago because they couldn't keep a minimum share price of $1.00.

Everyone can post at this point, even if you disagree. It'd be a pretty boring world if everyone thought the same way.
