Delaying Order, You're Kidding?

I ordered (2) of the same item as gifts for a 6 and 9 yr. old in different colors, received email that one color not available, I contacted CS verified the other color was ready to ship and changed the waitlisted item to a color available. Today I receive email that the color that was verified in-stock in now waitlisted.

I usually roll with the flow, but for some reason I'm really ticked-off at the handling. I thought I had found the perfect gift for my little friends, now one may get it, one may not. I order a lot of my gifts from Q and have experienced delays from time to time, even cancellations, but I'm wondering if I am willing to take the risk, seems more problems are being experienced with order fulfillment and delivery.

Reassurance anyone or go to the mall?
