The end of a grown man making the "yum yum face"??

David is limiting his caloric intake and has been successful losing weight.  Good for him that he is making his health a priority.  I do agree that it should be an option for the other hosts also.  I wouldn't be surprised if they restrict calories also.  I don't think the host tasting the food equates to purchase power.  Most likely the hosts will express their delight with the product....no matter what they really think.  That's their job to sell and, of course, the viewers are aware of that.

What difference does it make? Like a host is ever going to say

" gee, that tastes yerrible."

Maybe it's already the choice of the hosts as to taste or not to taste.

He's already talked about his road to better health and fitness. You see his impressive weight loss. He doesn't want nibble all that fattening, unhealthy stuff. He probably will sample foods that low carb, sugar free foods that fit into the way he eats now.

I don't know what good it does to see someone taste food. Of course they aren't going to do anything but say it is wonderful. What's the point in that?
Exactly! It should not atter if the hosts sample the food or don't sample it. They always say it's wonderful, delicious, scrumptious, amazing. The best they have ever tasted. They are selling the stuff.

He ate a piece of meat the other night... I think he only will eat what is on the KETO diet... no carbs or very little, no sugar... high protein.

Probably no one would make an issue of his not eating, if he hadn't  made over indulging  his. brand.  Copious amounts of Mac and cheese, yum yum faces  etc. happy dances were his act and  now he has to change .  I hope he can keep his weight off, but it must be hard when you built your rep. as an over eater.

When David first took over from Bob Bowersox I couldn't stand all the goofy happy dances and yum-yum faces.  It took me a couple years to resume watching when I realized he had toned down that part of his presentations.  He is now, dare I say a powerhouse? of a kitchen and food rep.  I don't mind the color showing repeats, what I don't like are breathless interuptions of how many are left in each.  David doesn't do this, but Jane Treacy would interrupt breaking news to tell how much of each color is left.

I know he won't taste any seafood because he's made it known he dislikes it, but I did see him eating some of the bagels and the zollipops. I didn't catch the rest of his show, so I didn't see what other foods were on.
