Re: David hosting when he's sick.

Hello @Kitty Galore 💕

I’m so sorry to hear that you and your husband haven’t been feeling good. 😔 I noticed you hadn’t been posting much. Especially was looking to hear about your MacKenzie Child’s purchases You made on the TSV day. 🤗

I can’t believe how Urgent Care misdiagnosed you both. But I had the same experience with them and much prefer seeing my Primary Dr too.

I’m glad they determined it was allergies. Have you got a purifier that you can run 24/7. We have 2 one in the living room and the other in our bedroom and they make a HUGE difference helping us. Also we keep the windows closed to keep out allergens.

My husband and neighbors wear masks when mowing which helps them. I try to avoid being outside when he’s mowing too.

By the way I loved your “sick of being sick” comment because I say that too when I’m not feeling well !! 😩

Take good care and hopefully you’ll be feeling like yourself again real soon!!! 💕

Re: David hosting when he's sick.

For David to say I tested for Covid therefore I'm not contageous.SERIOUSLY...Just have a cold and sneezing and coughing you can spread germs and make everyone sick..How idiotic have we become that COVID is the only thing we think of if we feel sick and if we take that fake test that we are ok... WOW. I am 72 yrs old and I haved lived long enough to know that if I have a cold and cough that I can give it to someone.WAKE-UP...

Re: David hosting when he's sick.

If I couldn't leave my house because of coughing, sneezing, or nose blowing I would never leave the house. I have health issues that I can't hide. I do remove myself from others if I start to cough. But sometimes I can't move away fast enough. Then...I get "the look". And believe me, I prefer that that doesn't happen.

@cody2 I am sure you know when you have a cold.I have a few issues with coughing from a nasal drip and a tickle in my throat and worry sometimes when I am in public. I always have water and Ricola with me at all times. So I understand what you are saying..

Re: David hosting when he's sick.

@rms1954, on the other hand, just one example from my long career in law firms: I remember one winter someone came to work with a bad cold. No idea who it was. Within a few days, EVERY SINGLE PERSON on my side of the office was out for days with a bad cold. Every office was empty. We had very little sick leave/PTO at that time and most of us had small children at home. If the instigator had just stayed home, we might not all have become ill. That was a lot of work hours lost by the firm.

I came back from Europe once at a different firm with the most serious upper respiratory illness I have ever had, beginning with bronchitis. After I stayed home through the worst of it, I had to come back to work. I didn’t have weeks of sick leave. I felt fine, but I still had a cough that was so bad it would cause me to choke. HR’s solution was to put me in an empty office and forget about me for a month! I probably wasn’t contagious, but there were complaints about my coughing, so they just put me behind a closed door. No sympathy, just complaints.
