@qualitygal I think it's more he's making sure the camera is picking up a more flattering shot of himself. I'm not knocking him, I think we would all do the same. But, I do find some hosts continually looking at themselves in the monitor more than other hosts.

@cjm61 I used to do a lot of scrapbooking way back then too...around 2008 or so.  Instead of watching the Q's craft items for sale at the time I would go to AC Moore,  Michaels (they were right next door to one another) and JoAnns every week to see what new goodies were offered with my 40% off coupons.  I had so many supplies I could have opened my own shop!

At the time the Q had a crafting forum and I used to participate a lot there.  Many of us even exchanged cards....we had a birthday card exchange going for a while...and supplies.  Were you on the crafting board back then?  We had a lot of fun!

Saw him today and he was absolutely looking in the camera. And eating candy. Don't watch often but I've seen posts that say David doesn't eat the food. I've seen him eat

on several occasions.

Even if a host looks into the camera, he/she can't see you and isn't talking directly to you.

When I see David doing this, I always think he is thinking to what is ahead next. A habit. 

David is so successful. He must be a multi millionaire. I wonder what he spends his money on. Or perhaps,he's one of thos rare creatures who enjoys accumulating more than spending.

Have noticed David starring so serious at foods or even himself. Not sure if it is  because  not eating as much as he did in the past nibble here a nibble there.Or his weight loss has become such an obsession he wants to make sure he is looking good on camera.

The one thing I will complain about is on Sunday when Rachel  Ellis (who I like watching on her own) starts the ITKWD running out to give David  a hug like a little girl think that looks so ridiculous.
