Why does David Venable never look straight into the camera but always looks down at what I’m assuming is the monitor? No other host I’ve watched ever does this.

Pat James Dimentri almost never looks into the camera.  She is looking sideways.

 @LuvmyLab   I'm pretty sure nobody here knows why David does what he does.  However, you could go to his Facebook page and ask him.

@LuvmyLab, it is interesting how the different hosts seem to direct their vision differently with the cameras. Different angles, lighting, and probably other factors play a role. It is an interesting question.

I never noticed that with any of the hosts.  I just figured that they all have their own hosting style.

@LuvmyLab I have mentioned this recently on the blogs, it is so annoying!!!!  How can he not realize he is doing it?

My guess, he's trying to make sure the camera is picking up a good picture of the item he's selling.  That's all.

Funny that I've never noticed, but if true I obviously don't find anything triggering about it. Guess I don't need to see anyone staring into a camera. Think I would find that more unsettling.

@LuvmyLab   It may have something to do with the fact that David is 6'4" and the monitors with information he needs is maybe on the floor.
