@faeriemoonSo true! But actually, the announcement is that QVC has produced a short cartoon version of QVC with David and Mary. This animation will air at 5:30pm (est) today on all of QVC's social media pages, and Youtube (In the Kitchen youtube channel).

UPDATE:

During David & Mary's Live IG feed on now, David just answered a poster and said this animation announcement is separate from the assignment he was working on Friday. That assignment is scheduled to be revealed "June/July/August timeframe."

David mentioned that he is not the only host that is working on the "special assignment", multiple hosts are involved and he was working on his portion Friday night. Also, David mentioned that the QVC studio is very large and out of caution they are not eating food during presentations, he also said some of the food is frozen and used during multiple food shows.
