I saw ITKWD on the rerun yesterday. Noticed that when the calendar was presented none of the food was tasted. When he had presentations of his cookbooks and his calendar last year he always had another host taking the lead. He ran the whole presentation on Sunday. By the way, he did have Julia as his sidekick.....wonder why they didn't bring her in?

The presentation looked like they put that calendar together on the cheap. No signature this time around either. I never heard him once say he worked on those recipes with a nutritionist or any other expert in the field.
He told everyone to take the calendar to their doctor before making any of the meals. I guess that's why no other hosts were there to taste anything(?).
So-called health-based recipes should be curated by experts, and you should clearly know who those experts are.
A calendar masquerading as a healthy recipe book? It's probably best to leave that all to David for the ones that will buy anything he sells.
There have been lots of groans on Facebook about David and ITKWD changing for the worse since his compulsive talk about his low carbs & net carbs.

@Caaareful Shopper Agree, and very well said!

I stopped watching because David rarely tastes the food, told chefs how to cook during cookware demos, told Tara how to design her bakeware, and went off on tangents when he obviously wan't interested in a vendor. David seems burnt out and ready for retirement. Rosina and Big Bite (that's another issue) Steve are not the greatest co-hosts either. New hosts are desperately needed. The show needs a refresh.
Just curious, when has DV gone "off on tangents" as I've never seen this when watching his shows. He's always very professional.

As has been stated here many times, there is nothing worse or preachier than an ex-smoker or an ex-food-a-holic.
As another poster said and I agreed, it is beyond time for a changing of the guard. The compulsive talk about low sugar/low carbs had gotten old a long time ago and it ruined his show.

Watched the presentation (for a few secs) last evening. Too much w/the low carb, low sugar and is it necessary for Steve or someone else to be a taster? Maybe David should move onto other products and allow someone else to present food items.

I don't know how it's possible to preach low carbs, low fat, low sugar and still hawk Q food.
It's one big contradiction. Based on what I read here I'd say they need to separate the food shows from the cooking shows. Let David sell products and let someone else sell food. Someone who will taste, ooh and ahh and ask for more.
