I already bought some things on Amazon that I used to shop at the Q for. QVC used to be the only
place that I shopped at. Not anymore! I'm slowly cutting ties with a business that treats their employees like garbage!@

I would often only shop at QVC because I enjoyed the homey feeling. However, I am now going to be shopping other sources. I paid over market value because I enjoyed watching (some) hosts.

I will continue to purchase items that I use from QVC. The layoff of Dan & Carolyn (and all the others) in no way affects my shopping at QVC. As nice as those hosts were, they were salespeople for an online shopping company. This is how Corporate works. A huge layoff is not uncommon.

In Dan's post, he said he was working with IT people to make it EASIER to follow him on social media for those interested.

The person who posted his FB link has caused a HUGE mess lol.  People are posting on his wall (because it's public) begging him to accept their friend request!

I know a lot of people don't want to join face book and i really don't blame you but I will try to post any updates that Carolyn and Dan Post so you can keep up.   You can go on face book and read their posts but you just can't post or comment.  If you are not on face book and you join, don't use your real name.  face book is not like here where you use a fake name. At least use another last name.  Remember Social Media can be dangerous. 

You should get a VPN an please guard your privacy.  More and more people are getting hacked.  It is not a safe forum like here.  A VPN will scramble your IP address.  Not trying to scare anyone but just be careful.  People can be mean especially if you say something they don't agree with you.

@Prairiedancer Do you think that Amazon treats their employees well?  From what I have read the working conditions in their warehouses are deplorable! 

Some didn't have AC in the summer and they are exected to run the length of several football fields to keep up and fulfill the orders.  If they can't have have a few minor errors they are let go.
