Re: Dan Hughes Posts About Carolyn Gracie's Return to QVC

Good luck to Carolyn.  I like her and felt bad when both she and Dan were let go.  Good people.  I applaud her for moving on with her own thing now.  I hope she has success.  She loves pets and gardening.  I look forward to seeing "new" items for a change....if I can remember to watch....according to Carolyn....2/13/24 at 9AM EST.

I still don't understand why some people are thinking that QVC brought Carolyn back. They are not the one paying her. She needed or wanted a job and decided to become a Vendor.

She could have gone with another Home Shopping Channel if she wanted to.

I guess correctly the Q permitted to join the Q as a vendor. However, Dan was refused with his hair product to return.

@febe1

I am not sure if you were serious or not, but Dan was making a joke about attempting to bring a hair care line to QVC.

@MaverDaver.  Thank you for your analysis of my posts.  I'm sure you've read them all and are an expert on the subject.  I'm flattered that you notice, but did you bother to even read the ones I wrote just yesterday?

If there's ever a poster whose entries you're not interested in, it's very easy to just move on.  You're not compelled to read anything here.

I am glad Carolyn is returning.  However, watching Dan was like watching paint dry.

IMO, he seems supportive of Carolyn, but perhaps resentful of qvc.  It does appear there was some prejudice that he and Carolyn were laid off, like age, health issues?, especially since they hired so many young (and annoying) hosts around the same time.  I don't prefer the hosts that feel they need to be cutesy and practically yell...or is that qvcs requirement now?

I wonder why Dan would feel the need to post something like that.......odd.

I don't understand why people haven't realized what is happening with QVC. It has taken over in business. Just look around.

@elated  What the heck are you talking about? Your post makes no sense. Explain.
